NotSoObvious
Has anyone done the Get Moving journey? Did you follow the leader guide or do your own thing? There is so much more to the sample sessions than is required for just earning the badges. Did you make paper?? How'd that go?! What was your innovate project? What kinds of options did you have? What building did you audit? THANKS! I'm new to all of this!
frugalmama
I haven't but I have done a Brownie Journey with my dd and the format is the same for all the journey programs. You can change as much as you want, as long as you still in some way complete the base requirements. The requirements are normally in the leader's guide before the sample sections but I can't recall the exact name of the section.
NotSoObvious
Thanks. I guess I'll see how much of it the girls want to do.
chiguirre
If you're not locked in to Get Moving, take a look at Amuse. It's a lot of navel gazing, but it's much easier to organize for the leader imho. I'd also look carefully at what's actually REQUIRED for each journey badge versus what's planned in the leader book. These are vastly different. (And that paper making project is not required, so if it's too messy for your meeting space, replace it with something else).
