Mukmuk
As above. DS has been using what I thought him - eg, 3^1/2 means sqrt 3. This has worked very well till lately, when the program marked him wrong for a few questions and it turned out he was right. He's livid! How do you guys handle this? Do you use latex? TIA! (I do realize that he may have missed out some brackets. Is there an easier way to key in answers from what I've described?)
Arcadia
i found these instructions on how to enter the answers for Alcumus here. I have not tried any questions that involved square roots yet so looks like I need to print that page for me.

boscopup
Yeah, I remember missing a few until I found those instructions. I was upset too! Alcumus is fun and addicting. :D
Mukmuk
Yes it is :D. We had to postpone lunch a few times already. Am so grateful for the books and the suite of support the company provides.
