arcara Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Hi, The mineral kit suggested to go with REAL Science's Earth and Space level 1 contains 15 minerals, but the lesson only gives ID info on 6 of the 15 minerals. Rocks #7, 8 and 9 are used in Rock Lab #5 - Exploring Igneous rocks and are granite, basalt and obsidian. Rocks #10, 11 and 12 are used in Rock Lab #7 - Exploring Sedimentary Rocks and are conglomerate, sandstone and shale.
