joyfulhomeschooler
I have searched the for sale threads for a comparable, but can't find anything. I have a complete SL 1+2 set. It has all the books, IG's, timeline figures, etc. Even comes with the big binders. It also has the readers schedules and books for 2 intermediate and 2 regular. How much should I offer this for? It has never been used and most of the books are in BRAND new shape. There are a few that have been read so they don't look brand new but are still in excellent shape. Should I just go to the website and see the new price for what I have and then cut it in half? Would that be a fair price? Oh I should add this is the 2010 edition
Jennifer in MI
I sold a bunch of used SL editions. I usually sell them the year after they come out. But, I do what you said - go to the SL website and see how much it would cost them new. In your case, make sure they haven't added a bunch of new books. Then figure a price. I usually went about 65% because I included shipping and insurance. Good luck selling it!
Denisemomof4
I bought Core 5, now F, used it one year and listed it on Ebay when we were through. I was shocked when I got every single dime back!!! I bought the same core to use this year and will do the same. I put my minimum I will accept in there and there are always bidding wars which go above that.

I, too, always include shipping and insurance, and I only take paypal. When I've sold the full set within a year of buying it new, I sold it around 65%. When I've sold older sets, still in good shape, I've gone with about 50%. I've always been able to sell them very quickly. (In fact, I have re-sold subsequent cores to the same buyer each year for the past couple years, as previous buyers want my next core!) joyfulhomeschooler
Thanks veryone :) Since mine is an older edition I think I'll price it at 50% of the new price. Sounds like ebay would be a good idea :)
