NikkiMarieLG
Jack and I are using Real Science 4 Kids pre-Biology once a month with a co-op so I wanted to find something we could use more often that would complement this, not be overwhelming but still add content. This has become our favorite part of the week! Its a chapter book about twins who travel to various biomes and discover different animals along the way!! Tons of Fun :):D
besroma
Thanks for posting. We have been doing unit studies of biomes.
Kathleen in LV
This looks neat. In a search for the book, I came upon this sample of the accompanying guide, which also looks interesting: http://sassafrasscience.com/images/zoology%20guide%20sample.pdf
alisoncooks
I'm interested in this for a future year. I think it says it's VOL. 1 of 8? Does anyone know any more info on where and what this series will cover? IIRC, the current volume (Zoology) is only a semester "course." I don't know that I want to start something we can't finish! :p
Sharilynn29
My 8yo dd is in love with this! We are making this a one year study by adding in geography. She loves the story and is a little hummed that it will take so long to read. We always do the crafts because that is her favorite activity. She does the vocabulary, animal sheets, habitat sheets, maps, extra books, and fun videos. I'm so glad we chose this! I hope she comes out with at least one a year.
