sheryl
This coming Tuesday will mark the LAST med (1 of 2 different meds) she takes for her epilepsy. She's been seizure free for 4.5 years and 2 months ago, with doctors instructions, we started weaning her. YEA! We take her in this coming TH for a follow up. At that appt, it is expected that he will start the weaning process on the 2nd and last neurological med! That one may take a while longer....towards the end of this year or beginning of next. I am so grateful to God! He alone is worthy of my praise!
speedmom4
 That is awesome!!!! My son has epilepsy and is on Lamictal XR and Zonegran. He also has a Vagus Nerve Stimulator. I can only imagine what it is like to no longer have to take anti-convulsant drugs! A year and a half ago we tried to wean ds off of Zonegran but he had the longest and strongest seizure at the very end of the weaning process. We were fortunate that we were able to cut the dosage by over half. I am celebrating with you all!!!!! God Bless, Elise in NC
