Closeacademy
I've taught fraction work once and have all of my notes. I just want something where the work is organized in a more logical manner. So I am wondering do I really need the TM for this level? Thanks.:001_smile:
Pen
No, IMO. Though so far I have gotten the teacher parts too. The Teacher part has the videos which can be helpful for direct use by the student, if Demme's way jives with the student. It also has answer keys and some mental math parts, that are not in the student materials. But I usually just look at the problems and work through the answers without answer key (though certainly just looking down an answer key is faster), and if you don't want or need the videos you can provide instruction and mental math practice and so forth on your own. Sew happily ever after
Yes. Because all the answers are in the tm. Unless you don't mind spending the time do re-do the worksheet in order to check their work. Lol!
Peaceful Isle
I like the teacher manual, because it saves me time correcting each page. I don't have to "work out" each problem in my head as I grade :)
Pen
P.S. I noticed you have MUS for algebra, while I'm not there yet, I'd think whether you use the TM for algebra (answer keys etc.) or not would be a good guide.
Closeacademy
Thanks. I don't mind rechecking so I may pass on the TM. I do use it for my older dds algebra which is our first experience with MUS and I want to switch my younger dd and wondered about TM for that.:001_smile:
