Slipper
I'm trying to look up something for MIL about Step-FIL. Today at his neurology appointment, they noticed that the right side of his body was different than the left. They would sharply move his hand a certain way and then when they released it, it would continue to make those motions. I thought they said it was cloning (or clawing?) but googling cloning isn't giving me what I want. Do I have the right term?
TrulySusan
I think you're looking for clonus.
Mona
Maybe, "cogwheeling" ? found this: Definition: The ‘pullback,’ jerky or ratcheting effect in an arm or leg that the doctor perceives when moving a patient’s rigid limb, thought to be related to tremor superimposed on limb rigidity.
