tuckabella
Hello, AAS is driving DS crazy and by extension me. DS finished AAS level 2 in May. Not the greatest retention over the summer (my fault for not reinforcing it more), but he is not a horribel speller either. I was wondering, if I go to Rod and Staff Spelling, do I need to start with level/grade 2, or do you think I can skip to grade/level 3? boscopup
I would go with grade 3.
Tess in the Burbs
you can view the word list online at the websites that sell it. We finished AAS 6 this spring and are starting R&S spelling this fall. I just looked at word lists until I felt a level was hard enough but not too hard to move into. I quizzed the kids randomly from the lists to make my decision. I have heard to do R&S Spelling a grade level ahead, but look at the lists, quiz your child and choose based on your experience.
