WishboneDawn
I totally stole this from someone here but the computer I had the bookmark on died last week. Apologies to the wonderful person who put this idea on their blog for not giving credit. Anyway, use those tri-fold display boards kids have their science fair projects on. I've been struggling to make file folder time lines for my kids but between homeschooling, the baby and doctor's appointments for my husband (broke his shoulder blade. Surgery tomorrow and many months off work to follow) I just haven't had the time or energy. Enter that blog post. I took two boards I used to use as mini-office for my kids, marked 11 lines across them (5000BC to 500AD in 500 year increments) and voila! Time lines in less then half an hour that we can tuck away at will. Just one more variation for those that need a time line that works for them.
