DStrout
I already have SAXON math, but would really love some direction with purchasing (or creating) a full year curriculum guide for my 7th grader. Any suggestions? What are you using?
redsquirrel
If you are looking for a boxed curriculum, it would be good to know if you are looking for a particular worldview. I have never used a boxed curriculum but in my mind they are almost all christian with varying philosophies and stances. I think there are two secular boxed curriculum. I know one is Oak Meadow, but I can't remember the other one. I know there is sonlight. Tapestry of god is another one I see mentioned a lot. cat_cornish
Memoria press will have their 7th grade curriculum together by the end of August. We are using 6th and 4th this year. It is the only boxed curriculum we liked, a solid classical curriculum and affordable. I did change out the maths however to stick with our current maths programme (MEP). Good luck! ktgrok
If you are looking because you want easy to teach, or mostly independent, maybe do Essentials in Writing for writing, then Biblioplan for history and reading?
ErinD
What about something like http://www.movingbeyondthepage.com? Open and go.
