momsuz123
I am thinking of starting my oldest dd, 8, in Latin this year. I am liking the sounds of some of the curriculum that uses DVD's, thinking that maybe my younger one would watch and listen in some. Thanks! mumto2
We started with Prima Latina around that age. We used the dvd and loved it. My dd had never been to an away school--just mommy and loved having a different teacher! There are a lot of different programs out there now. I would do a thread search before you buy. Lots of choice.
boscopup
We just started Getting Started With Latin this year at age 8. My son loves it! It's his favorite subject. It has free downloadable audio for it as well. I mostly use the audio when I'm not sure how to pronounce something (since I'm learning Latin with him). Dinsfamily
I'm doing Prima Latina with Ds8 and it's been great so far. I don't use the DVDs, though. I didn't feel they were needed for this level. I will probably buy them for First Form.
