JanetC Posted July 9, 2012 Share Posted July 9, 2012 I would like to get a book for my DD that provides a guide to classic novels--more than just say, the suggested reading lists that are out there, but a plot summary and how/why the book is interesting or important. Something she would enjoy browsing when she has to choose books over the next four years of high school, but written to be very accessible to a 14 year old as well. I can find lots of books written to teachers or librarians to guide the teen readers in their lives, but I'm having troubles finding something written to the teen herself.
