godsaggie Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 My Pappy passed away last night. I'm so very sad...and at the same time so very happy. He was almost 96 years old and lived for the Lord his whole life. Six years ago, my Granny passed away...leaving him devastated and heartbroken. I know that he is in the presence of the Lord now...what a wonderful thing to rejoice! But my mom and my sister are not exactly believers and are taking it pretty hard. We are leaving tonight (hopefully the kids can sleep in the car.) The drive is about 10 hours. Please pray for peace for my family and travel mercies for all of us. Thank you all so very much... Hope you get there safe and sound and can comfort your family... and be comforted!! I always wonder about Heaven and wonder how the greeting people will be.
