fairfarmhand
for my daughter for 4H horse project/club. She works on this for hours and I want to make it an official part of her transcript She studies horse medicine, tack, riding techniques...pretty much anything to do with a horse. Suggestions? fhjmom
The local public high school here offers an Equine Science class. I would use that since it seems to be a "school class" title already.
fairfarmhand
I've been working on the course of study already. I think I am going to have her spend at least 45 minutes a day reviewing her horse club quizzing materials, 15 minutes 4 days a week researching for a Friday essay on topics that I have chosen. I will probably include 2-3 research papers too.
5wolfcubs
Equine Studies or Equine Science or Equine Husbandry Equine Studies if the focus isn't science Equine Science if the focus is science Equine Husbandry if there will be foals involved :D I just made all that up. I really have no idea. But when I was in high school, I heard of home schooling. I told my mom I wanted to home school and I'd learn everything through horses and art. She said no. But if she'd said yes, I'd have taken all three classes!
