Even my husband learned somethings that he has used in his papers for grad. school. My ds and dd (6th and 4th) are not good at writing (yet), but they enjoyed the student sections of IEW. It has given them a place to start. They are not a excited as your kids, but maybe one day we won't have any wailing and crying over writing.
