momofkhm
tell your husband he can use his power tools. Our stand up freezer is in the garage. In an hour and half, he had it emptied into coolers, moved the freezer to the driveway, and defrosted. He used the power washer to "chip" the ice, he and I dragged to broken pieces out. And then the blower to dry it out mostly. It's going to sit outside for an hour or so to dry more completely. It's never gone so quickly before. I figured my whole morning was gone. SebastianCat
Too funny! We defrosted our chest freezer last week, and I let my almost 8 yo dd use her hairdryer to melt the ice - she LOVED it! This was the fastest defrost we've ever done too. :D
ZooRho
That is sort of what I do we take out of the garage, use the hose to wash it out, I just use the rag towels we have to dry it out though. and then put it back in and load it back Hopefully better than it was to start.
