FaithManor Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 Don't know about the soda scandal. My assumption on the Fois Gras is animal cruelty based. I don't know a lot, but if memory serves, the animal is force fed an unnatural diet that causes them to fatten rapidly. Apparently, this causes numerous health problems and the animal suffers great pain for an extended period before it is sufficiently fattened for the kill. But, I don't know that this is the reason. For one, if you are putting ice in it, you barely get a 20 oz soda in it, and for another, it is no ones business if I want to drink a soda as big as my house, or if I want to drink no soda at all.
