FIAR- separate volumes or Starter Kit

Hi,

I am considering using FIAR this year. I think I would purchase more than one volume as we have many books from across all volumes. I would probably like the Christian Supplement as well.

For ease of use, is it better to purchase the volumes separate, or all bound together in the starter kit/book?

If the starter book is as unwieldy as a WWE book, I would rather have the separate books. On the other hand, is it much more simple to have the Christian Character in the same book?

I wouldn't buy this. Three FIAR volumes + Bible supplement will be as big as WWE at least. Plus if you will use this for at least two years (or more if you're re-rowing), the book will be subjected to more wear and tear.

I have vol. 1-3 plus the bible supplement, but I bought them used so they're all separate. I think I'm glad. It would be thick to have them all bound together!

I agree! Its nice to have the slimmer volumes, you can just keep out the one you're using along with the book you're rowing and its not too cumbersome. Seems much simpler to me.
