Base 10 blocks - yellow vs. blue?

I'd like to buy some base ten 100s flats to use with our cuis. rods. Looking around, it looks like I can get blue, yellow and then transparent yellow (for an overhead projector). Does anyone know why the regular blue and yellow ones are priced differently? The yellow always seems to be cheaper... are they sized differently or something?

I have yellow and blue. Not sure if they are the SAME yellow and blue ones you're looking at, though. Our yellow ones are hollow, so they are louder and a bit lighter.

I like the yellow, as I can see them easily even in a dim room before I put my bare foot down on one of those sharp little unit cubes.
