Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
There is usually a book from your childhood you can look back on and think THAT is the book that meant something. It doesn't matter if the book was good or bad it was the entire everything associated with the book that made it so. For me, this book was Children of the Sea by Wilfrid S. Bronson. Sadly my dad's copy was lost during the floods of Katrina and I have been looking for a copy ever since. I have encountered prices ranging into the hundreds. I finally made a purchase for this book and got it today. I actually just sat looking at the closed book and thinking back. Then I opened it... I noticed some pictures repeated and upon closer examination it has pgs 124-138 repeated but pages 139-154 missing. I could have cried. I am hoping to get a refund, but I will still be without a copy of this book and to me that is the greater loss. :(
