Laura Corin
Every now and then I read threads where people talk about the build up of clean clothes that then becomes a burden to put away. It makes me wonder how many weeks worth of clothes people usually keep, especially with growing children. How long can you go without washing/putting away clothes and still have reasonably appropriate clothing (for season and various occasions)? For us, it used to be about ten days. Since the boys have been at a school with a strict uniform, I need to wash and put away every night, as their PE kit is used almost every day and it's too expensive to have more than one set (and too stinky to let them wear more than once). Jennifer in MI
I do a load of laundry almost every day. But, I fold in the basement (in the laundry room) and the kids don't bring their piles up until they absolutely have to. They can usually go about 6 days or so. We don't keep many extra articles of clothing around here!
