sagira
As soon ds8 finds out there is going to be some writing or work and effort involved. We're working on it. More complaints get more cleaning later ;)
TracyR
The minute they wake up? Oh, age? As soon as it's not fun K work anymore. Mine each started to complain when they couldn't get the answers instantly and had to do some thinking or writing. But we're working on that. :glare: :iagree: Yes, if thought has to be put into it. Then the groaning and complaining starts.
Soror
I think it depends on kids personalities, parent personalities and teaching style. The more you have the more likely you are to have one that is a complainer. Ds is generally my compliant easy going one but has always had a hard time with writing, it is difficult for him. He generally likes school but as of late has made some complaints and I'm not sure why exactly. He enjoys his individual subjects(except writing) but seems to just not like to want to sit and do it, although he will ask to do extra while we are doing it. It is very odd. Dd#1 is generally my complainer but never complains about school work, however she just turned 5 and I don't require anything of her as of yet. So, now she begs to do things all the time but I can see with her personality that she could be grumpy about it later. I've been working on whining with her from birth, she is getting better but goodness she still has a ways to go.
