hsbaby
I'm thinking of switching to this next year. DS did Prima Latina this year. He did fine with it, but thought it was really boring. Pretty much the same worksheet every time, just with new vocabulary words:(. Latin for Children with the DVD looks like it might be good. Any experience? Would we start with a or b given that we completed Prima Latina? Thanks!
oraetstudia
I'd start with level A. There is a lot of vocabulary and grammar in LfC, and I would think that even if some of it is familiar, any review that was in there would be a good thing. SilverMoon
I'm on my second pass through LFC A right now with my current third grader. Boring is not an adjective my kids would ever use for LFC. :001_smile: The big kids will still come running when they hear the music for How the West Was Unus when little Brub is watching the DVD. I don't know anything about Prima Latina, but that Ask the Magister button on CAP's website really does work. I'd send them a message through that and see what they say.
AvasMom
We used PL and LCfor my dd and we also quit because it was so boring. We switched to LfC for the boy and LA for the girl and never looked back. It's definitely the perfect fit for us!
