m0mmaBuck
I'm leaning toward LLATL just because it seems more "fun" (and I'm trying to make HS'ing more joyful around here) but it's hard to judge a curriculum by the online previews. Thoughts?
julikins
I really liked LLATL's Red book for 1st grade. Not so much for the other years, but my daughter liked it and I thought it did a good job. I didn't use the handwriting component but used everything else. I haven't used the others you mentioned so I can't do a comparison, but just share my experience with it. Kathy Duffy has a good review for it in her book.
kalanamak
Spelling Power is not usually used in the 1st grade. It if after the phonics etc are really down pat, and the child' mind is mature enough for word analysis. No way at all my son would have been ready even at 7.
