Quiver0f10
I wasn't sure if I needed both. Thanks!
pianoplayer
We use Vocabulary from Classical Roots. I have found that it significantly reinforces and drills the Latin we are studying.
Karenciavo
I do because I'm worried about SAT scores. My sons say it's busy work, but I make them do it anyway. Wordly Wise for ds13 and Vocab for the College Bound for ds15.
Michelle in MO
was posted a few weeks ago, in which I gave our reasons for continuing to do vocabulary, along with what we used. http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30441&highlight=vocabulary HTH! latinteach
An interesting book you might want to consider is "Words and Ideas" by William J. Dominik. (ISBN 086516485-1). Word building is taught parts to whole but contextually. It starts out with word building basics, provides Latin and Greek word building tools, and then branches out to teach word building in the areas of mythology, medicine, politics and law, economics, philosophy and history. It's probably best for high school or those learning independently.

schmittgirlz
We also do both. For ninth and tenth grade, we used Wordly Wise for 20 weeks and Vocab from Classical Roots for the remainder of the school year. FWIW, the girls found many WW vocab words on the SAT. HTH! Then again, we're the type of family that uses words like "bifurcate" and "referent" in casual conversation -- which is to say that we're a bit on the geeky side and overly fond of words.
