BearWallowSchool
For those of you that have already received your new Sonlight catalog or on the Sonlight forums. Are they changing the books in the preschool cores? I'm considering purchasing the P3/4 core. Wondering if it mattered to order now or should I wait until after April 2nd? krisperry
101 Stories from the Bible changing to Family Time Bible in Pictures in P 3/4 (I think the 101 stories will be added to P 4/5 but not until next year)
BearWallowSchool
Thank you! After looking on Amazon I think I would like the 101 Stories From the Bible better than the Family Time Bible. So I guess I should order before April 2nd.
boscopup
The prices for P3/4 and P4/5 are going down about $10.
Kathryn
Yes, they're switching the Bilbe. The one that's currently in P3/4 is not at all age-appropriate for the vast majority of 3-4 year olds.
BearWallowSchool
Or maybe I'll wait and save the money...

It's completely beyond anything my younger dd could comprehend.

Even last year at 5.5, I don't think it would have really gone over like the P4/5 Bible did. I think this year, at 6.5, would have been fine, but we've enjoyed the Core A bible. I think they should have taken the suggestions they got for a more age appropriate Bible rather than just switching them.
melmichigan
Are they taking out Mighty Minds? I thought that was part of the cost change, but I have trouble reading the tiny print on the PDF.
BearWallowSchool
No, I got my catalog yesterday. Mighty Minds is still in there.
