Dmmetler
or a "it's a good thing they're homeschooled", but I just checked DD's backpack for our Florida trip. It contains: Pens, pencils, colored pencils, markers, a pencil sharpener, a pad of paper, Draggy, her acoustic ear protectors, six hair bows, 4 bracelets, a charger for the iPod and 12 books-including Physics, Algebra, and Grammar. I supposed I should check her suitcase, too...

nukeswife
Sounds like my dd, for our trip last summer she asked for another backpack because all of her books and art supplies wouldn't fit in the huge one from LL bean she has. LOL Of course she's the same girl, who when she was 4 and told we were going to disney for 2 days over the weekend, wanted to pack her own suitcase. She packed 2 pairs of shorts,1 tshirt and every.single.pair of underwear she owned. Which at the time was about 20 because she was the child who must put on clean ones in the morning and then again before bed.
