love2read
How much coffee per water and how long would it take for about 50 cups. This is one of those really big church percolators.
PrincessMommy
We have several of those at our church and the directions we've put out is 1/2 heaping cup of coffee for every 10 cups water... then add another 1/2 cup heaping or two to make it a bit stronger. love2read
Thanks, I haven't done this in at least 15 years. There is no filter, right? It just goes into the basket and the water into the section below the basket? How long does it take to perk? I remember it being a couple of hours, but maybe that was when we were making 100 cups. kamom
We put in one cup full of grounds for every 20 cups of water.
kamom
It takes about an hour for 50 cups. Make sure the water you add is cold. It's important. Because if you add hot it says the coffee is ready before it's strong enough.
