Hedgehogs4
I am looking for a handwriting program for my ds 10. We have been using A Reason for Handwriting, but from level C to level F there is absolutely no change in the way lessons are presented or practiced. The cartoon-y characters are also somewhat young for him now. It also bothers me that they are not copying standard versions of the Bible verses. I would like to stick with that style of handwriting, because honestly, his cursive is beautiful. He just needs one more year or so of practice to build his speed and consistency, then we'll drop it. Any suggestions? tia!
raceNzanesmom
Could you print something for him? I know Donna Young and some others have pages, and, I think, there's even a program where you can make your own. ETA: http://donnayoung.org/penmanship/index.htm CurrClick also has a ton of copywork books. Edited March 2, 2012 by raceNzanesmom
Hedgehogs4
Thanks for the link. I will check that out. I have the program that you can make your own (StartWrite, it's called) and at the same time I'd like to avoid reinventing the wheel...kwim? MomatHWTK
Happy Scribe/History/Science Scribe all have cursive printables. Check out the handwriting options at Currclick and you'll be able to view samples and may even find some freebies.
