rocketgirl
she just turned 4 last month & is very new to letters (we've done 4 together) but suddenly she wanted to read a book & I wanted to teach her "see" so she could read "I see Sam" like in a month or so, but ... it just happened last night! Now, I'm in shock at how fast she learned, and at the fact that she seems to actually "get" it (she finger pointed to each word, could find "see" in the sentence 'I see a cow.') Now we're spelling the word, "s-e-e, see!" This is a book I would have taught my my kindergartners in the Fall but she's "not old enough for (ps) preschool"... this is so awesome!! CrunchyGirl
It's so fun isn't it? I'm still in shock some days that DS can read. It started when he was 3 1/2 and it was so unreal. Like it had to be some big mistake or something.
