I can't recall what the measurements of oats/water is and also, in the morning, will I need to add some more water or just put it cooking as is? Thanks! ticklbee Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 I love steel cut oats. I like mine creamy so I do 4 cups water to 1 cup oats. I add a little brown sugar, golden raisins or dried cranberries and a little cinnamon. Yum! I've never soaked them overnight before though...I'll have to try it.
