Ottakee
I have a kindle app on my droid phone, a $79 Kindle for myself and a $79 kindle for my 15dd. Are there any easy ways to manage your books? Do you put them in collections? Do you remove the read books off your kindles once you finish them? So far I have about 150 books between the 3 devices---all free ones from the amazon top 100 free list. I just needs to figure out a better way to organize things. KS_
I've been organizing in collections by author or series for my kids. I've only been downloading free books, and have a lot of them. I'm not sure it's the best way, but at least they're in smaller, more manageable groups.
torikei
I like to create collections by author or subject. I usually have a To Read collection. It's, also, nice to put the kids books together in a collection. I have almost 500 books so it can definitely get a little confusing without some organization. Ottakee
Yes, it is a bit harder than just piling my books on the floor in different piles where I can see the covers :-) The kindle though does take up less room .
River notes
I am guessing that you have the original Kindle, which I am looking at for my ds. I was told that it has a read to you option, is this true, if so can you tell what model you have. this would be handy option.
Ottakee
Mine is the cheapest version out there and does not have the text to voice option. I know some of the higher models do. I can see how it might be nice but I am happy with my cheap one. It does what I need it to do and not a lot more.
