heidip2p
If I have our 7th grader using MUS Pre Algebra what does she use for 8th grade? Would she go into Algebra 1? I was thinking that was more for 9th grade though.
Mommy7
It might be a good idea to ask the MUS representative. That is what I did when I was using MUS and had questions like yours. Hope that helps! :)
5wolfcubs
I went right on with the next book when they finished the previous with no problems, regardless of age. :D
frankcassiesmom
Algebra I in 8th grade is becoming standard these days.

Running the race
My son used MUS Algebra I in 8th, Geometry in 9th and is using Algebra II for 10th. Amy This is what we did, though actually, we started Pre-Algebra in 6th grade and took 1 1/2 years to complete it. Then we also spread Algebra over 1 1/2 years to finish at the end of 8th grade. It's looking like we'll finish Algebra early this year, so I might get a chance to use AoPS' Intro to Number Theory book. I already have it here.
