Soror
I downloaded TimezAttack for ds as a fun way to work on facts and on the intro test he totally froze. Poor kid takes after me- I have anxiety with timed test taking!!! I guess we won't be using that after all- what do others do with a kid who doesn't do well with such things? I think we need to play our RS games more but was hoping to have some independent practice as well so I'm looking for ideas.
Guest
Mine have the same problem. The simple solution? Don't time the drills. Speed is not as important as knowledge. I have not timed mine ever since that first time and they still know their facts.
Halcyon
My younger has the same problem, and older did at that age too. We use Math Rider for younger--much more gentle, relaxing, and less stressful.
Bloggermom
I agree, there is less "pressure" in Math Rider than there is in Timez Attack.

Too much stress. Math Rider is much more gentle.
