DragonFaerie
DD10 failed her grammar test on verbs today. She did well on all of her chapter assignments but on the test, she got all messed up with the different tenses and correctly identifying the complete verb phrases and such. Now if this were something like math, we would go over the whole chapter again because math is so progressive. But with grammar, it seems that the same information is taught over and over again each year. She writes and speaks well, even if she can't exactly explain why. So I'm wondering if it's really necessary to make her redo the chapter and memorize all the tenses and everything. She'll see it all again next year, anyway, won't she? (FYI, we're using VIE right now but switching to GWG for next year.)
