lovetobehome
Just thinking of what to use for my 4.5 yo who is ready to begin reading. I have used 100 EZ Lessons with the others, and MFW K. I am looking for simple to implement (because I spend most of my time with my middle daughter right now), and a little fun! I appreciate any ideas of what others are used/have used or think looks neat. Thanks!

mom2bee
Ordinary Parents Guide to Teaching Reading (I just checked it out from the library and am pretty pleased with it.) The Reading Lesson (I own and use this as the basic learning to read series around here.) Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons (I checked this out from the library also, but have gotten it before. Its method gets kids blending faster than anything else I ever used in my short teaching career) 100 EZ causes a 3.5yo I know to giggle. Which is odd, in my opinion but we did the first 5 or 6 lessons tonight and he thought it was great.
AnointedHsMom
We are using All About Reading and my 5 year old loves it! We started with it when he was 4. I highly recommend it.
