3peasinWa
It doesn't bother me to see kids do it. Mine will still do it & I just have him wash his hands after. I do give him a tissue & have him blow - but I don't make it a big deal. I do instruct him not to do it in public. I also read a similar article about booger eating & boosting the immune system & it makes sense to me - so I dont' worry about the habit too much. kewb
Yes, it grosses me out. Yes, both my kids were booger eaters. At the time, I told them it was gross, and germy, and nasty, etc. and nothing made them stop. They no longer do it and are quite disgusted that they did. They both told me during that phase that boogers were yummy. Once, one of friends said something to dh about he germs ds was eating. Dh looked at his friend and said "So what? The booger came out of his nose. They are his germs." I almost fell off my chair from laughing. The friend was left with nothing to say.
