kalanamak Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 I used phonics with it, but my child is neither a natural reader or speller. ETC, at least in the later levels, might be overkill. It moves away from phonics into spelling. However, I'm a bit rusty on both programs and gave away rather than used the last levels of ETC. This is my impression though.
