shukriyya
I've looked at the TOC in both of these and I keep going back and forth on whether FLL is a little more rigorous than R&S. I realize I'm splitting hairs here but you know how important the minutiae are to homeschoolers ;) I know that R&S is thorough but FLL looks pretty darn thorough too. Is it perhaps less dry than R&S and perhaps that's what I'm seeing? Is it simply a matter of style preference? Anyone started with one of these and switched to the other? Ellie
What about the scope and sequence? Does FLL cover as much as Building With Diligence?
shukriyya
From what I've been able to see from the TOC for both it looks like they each cover the same things in a slightly different sequence and each use a different approach but by the end they've both covered the same thing. I'm not 100% though as I've only looked at samples. Anyone else?

shukriyya
Belabor away :D Thanks for this. It looks like it's going to come down to a matter of style preference. I'm going to see if I can find a S&S for FLL4 and compare them based on your post. Thanks again :)
