Mynyel
I forget, in baking recipes you can use applesauce to replace something. Eggs or oil I think. It is to lower the fat or calories or some such thing. I am not looking to do that but I do have an abundance of applesauce that I was to use and want to use it in my baking :) Can someone refresh me? theYoungerMrsWarde
Oil, but I did it to replace one egg in my banana bread once because I only had two eggs and I was suppose to use three. It turned out really good, but it fell apart more than when I did it right.
bpskowski
I use it to replace the oil in muffins all the time. I use equal amount of applesauce.
