S/O motivated moms thread. Do you empty the trash daily even if it's not full?

Kitchen can is emptied daily after dinner, but the others weekly unless they are full.

I don't take out the trash. Hubby does. I have no clue how often he does it, but he is obviously good at it, because it is never full when I need it. :D

 

We recycle a lot though so we only have 2-3 kitchen size garbage bags of trash per week.

We purposely have a small trash can in the kitchen (not the typical "kitchen size"), which takes the plastic grocery store bags. It fills up at least once, usually twice a day, and when that happens, it goes out. We chose this size can in order to use up the plastic bags that come home from the store and not have to buy kitchen trash bags, but also so it would fill up quickly and thus be taken out before any stench has a chance to develop.

 

Our other trash bins (in both bathrooms and the master bedroom) are emptied once a week on trash day, since they don't fill up until then, if at all.

I have one boy responsible for trash. He consolidates the trash from each bathroom and dumps all of that into the kitchen trash. That bag goes out when full, which could be that same day or the following day at the latest.
