I think he'd really love the turntable, but I have NO IDEA what I'm looking for (and budget requires me to really know what's important). Mostly, I'm not sure where he would want to use it- at his office or at home? Not knowing that means that I don't know what speakers he would input into....what type of output he needs....I'm pretty sure the office runs completely through a Apple airport. Home would be easy, he could plug into our amp. A really good Scotch would also make him happy. I don't honestly know much about Scotch either, but I think I can figure it out. Any thoughts?
