AnnaM
Cant decide if I should purchase the TM for BJU Math 2 or 3. Not sure which I am getting yet. Going to go look today.
sixpence1978
You need the TM in order to teach the course well. It will go through a little bit of review each day and will tell you which manipulatives to use or how to teach the concept for the day. I consider myself very good at math, but I still used the TM when I used BJU math.
Plink
Without the TM you are buying just a workbook. With the TM you will have games, songs, instructional tips, stories . . . all the fun stuff that makes BJU better than just a workbook. TracyR
Yes, in order to teach the math properly. You need the manual.
MrsMe
I agree with everyone else. Yes. And in addition to what's been said, it's a wealth of information, and it does teach some concepts in a way that if you don't teach them that way, the child will be lost as you move on. Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
The workbook is not necessary, but the teachers manual is needed. It gives many ways to get the concepts across. Games, story problems, mental math wotk, manipulative work....all in the TM.
