walkermamaof4
I read online and haven't found help. We splurged and got all clad pans and they are developing a white film. Plus I can't get them super clean. How do you keep them like new? thanks!
kalanamak
What kind do you have? I have the call SS and use Bartender's Friend, but it isn't non-stick or copper or any of the newer kinds.
Hilltop
I use Method dish soap and a Dobie pad to clean my All Clad. For me, the Dobie pads make all the difference... they really scrub and get the pots and pans clean without doing any damage. If I have a really tough spot, I'll use some Bon Ami. felicity
:iagree: I wash them just in soapy water about five times then on the fifth I use the bartender's magic stuff. Mine are ss too.
WeeBeaks
We have had ours 14 years now. We use Barkeeper's Friend on them when they have really stuck on stuff. Otherwise, we just use dishsoap. Here is a link to it on Amazon, but we can get it in the regular grocery store here easily. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_8?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=barkeeps+friend&x=0&y=0&sprefix=barkeeps
redsquirrel
Umm... I put it in the dishwasher. I've had it for years and years. No problems with it ever. I have the classic shiny kind. I know there are all different kinds now. If I have to scour I use baking soda or Bartkeeper's friend.
walkermamaof4
So thankful for you all. They aren't nonstick. So I'll try some baking powder, barkeepers friend, and order a dobie pad to try too!

I have found that while I use the Bar Keeper's friend, it isn't a torture of scrub scrub scrub. A quick once-over makes my pots shine. Already Gone
Another vote for Barkeeper's Friend. As my husband says (in awed tones), "something that actually does what it says it does!".
