Primary Sources

I think it depends on what part of history one is studying. We are on year three of the history rotation. For the first two years of the rotation, we studied two primary sources each year. I can see increasing that as primary sources become more plentiful and are easier to read and understand. A document written by a founding father is easier to read than the Magna Carta.

Also, these past two years I sat down and read and analyzed step by step with my kids. I feel that at this point my kids will be able to do more of that on their own making it possible to add more into their studies.
