Re: rep etiquette

Well, I've given out lots of rep, and have only had one person thank me, so I don't think it's the standard, but it was very nice to get the "thanks". But then I wondered if I should send a "you're welcome" message. But I think that might have been pushing it a bit too far. :)

 

So, I think it's nice to do, but not expected.

When people give you good rep, is it customary to send a "thank-you" note (pm or email), or do you just bask in the glow and think "wow, that was nice"?

 

I just bask in the glow. Sort of like you don't really respond to thank you notes...I mean where would it end?
