Kathleen in VA
When people give you good rep, is it customary to send a "thank-you" note (pm or email), or do you just bask in the glow and think "wow, that was nice"?
genie
Well, I've given out lots of rep, and have only had one person thank me, so I don't think it's the standard, but it was very nice to get the "thanks". But then I wondered if I should send a "you're welcome" message. But I think that might have been pushing it a bit too far. :) So, I think it's nice to do, but not expected. I just bask in the glow. Sort of like you don't really respond to thank you notes...I mean where would it end?
Penny from Tenny
I really am trying to figure this all out. I just got my first rep last week and I have no idea who gave it to me. How do you find out who did it if you want to thank them? I REALLY am tired of feeling ignorant... Thanks! Penny :bigear:
jacqui in mo
Unless they remember to sign their names to the rep, you cannot know who it is from. I wish they automatically added the posting name. I have to work very hard just to remember to add my name to a rep.
