LOF Fractions after Miquon?

What I've read is that the child has to know multiplication and division well before starting LoF Fractions.

 

EDIT: The child has to know long division specifically.

 

Have you looked at the Key To Fractions books? I have them and I am sure they can be started after Miquon.

:iagree: I think the Key to... books are actually by the Miquon authors as well? My daughter really enjoyed them.

No. Actually the Key To.. workbooks were written by the son of the Miquon author. :) Both sets of books are published by his company (Key Curriculum Press).

 

These workbooks start from the basics, provide lots of incremental practice and are very affordable. Of course, they are very different from LoF.
