Jay3fer
Many, many homeschool printables (maybe all?) are 50% off with a coupon code this weekend. More info in this blog post. Enjoy!
ThreeBlessings
FYI- I spent $3 on a few Math games. The coupon DOES NOT work on all items, only the ones linked for the sale. :)
KristenR
I hear CurrClick mentioned a lot around here. But I have no personal experience with it. Anything I should know? Anything that is a *must-have*?
Jay3fer
Anything that is a *must-have*? Well, unlike Evan-Moor or Scholastic, CurrClick isn't a publisher, it's just a sales outlet for other publishers. So much of the stuff CAN be bought elsewhere. Rainbow has an eBooks site that sells many of the same publications. So does Homeschool Buyers Co-op. In fact, CurrClick even sell EvanMoor, Teacher Created Resources, Hands of a Child and some other things that you can probably buy directly from the publishers' sites. They have the Apologia lapbooks, and a number of things from small publishers. I like the site because of the freebies and the tiny commission. I've also decided to try selling a few of my own materials there as well. SO, my feelings about the site are mixed, but I have found a lot of stuff there free, and bought a few things as well. Hope that answers your question!
nansk
Everyone's list of must-haves is different. I have bought many ebooks on Currclick. It is quite safe. The ones that I can recall off the top of my head: 1. Penny Gardner's Italics 2. Write from History copybooks 3. Igniting Your Writing 1 and 2 4. Miquon math books 5. Read & Practise Mini-Books (Parts of Speech, Grammar and Punctuation) 6. Bogart Family Resources copybooks 7. Mark Twain Media diagramming book
Rubix
Thanks for the info! I was able to purchase several things on our list at 1/2 off :) ETA: We had no problems with being able to download and view the files in PDF form right away. The files were large (~160 pages each x 6).
